What it is

Restorix CMS is a single PHP file (webarchive-cms.php) that you drop next to your restored site's index.html. The first time you open it in a browser it imports your pages and gives you an admin panel where you can edit the whole site visually. It ships inside every Restorix restore zip. It is free software released under the GNU GPL v3. Use it on as many sites as you like, forever.

What it does

• Visual editing: click into any restored page and change text and images in the browser
• Site-wide search & replace: fix an old phone number or email across every page in one pass
• Built-in file manager and automatic backups with one-click rollback
• No database to create: content lives in a built-in SQLite file the CMS manages by itself
• Safe mode on by default, so learning the panel cannot break your site
• Runs on PHP 5.6 through 8.x, on any cPanel, Plesk, or budget shared host

How to start using it

1. Run a restore (or open an existing one). The CMS file is already inside your zip as webarchive-cms.php.
2. Upload and extract the zip on your hosting so webarchive-cms.php sits next to index.html in the web root (public_html / httpdocs).
3. Visit yourdomain.com/webarchive-cms.php. The first launch asks you to create your admin password.
4. The CMS imports your pages automatically. Edit away.

Free and open source

Restorix CMS is released under the GNU General Public License v3. You may use it on unlimited sites, for clients or yourself, and modify it to fit your needs. There is no license key, no phone-home activation, and no paid tier hiding features.

FAQ

Do I need to create a database?

No. The CMS keeps everything in a SQLite file it creates and manages on its own. You never open phpMyAdmin or paste credentials into a config file.

What are the requirements?

PHP 5.6 or newer with the standard SQLite extension, practically every shared host qualifies. There is nothing else to install.

Is my content safe if I make a mistake?

Yes. Safe mode (on by default) blocks risky operations like custom PHP files, and the CMS keeps backups you can roll back to with one click.
